There are four main components to a generator install.

1. The pad and where you want to place it. Placement can sometimes increase the cost of your generator install.
2. The generator size and what you want it to manage. Understanding how you want your generator sized and managed for set up.
3. Installing the gas with a licensed plumber. Most of the generators run off of natural gas, which is fed to your home.
4. Electrical hook up with a licensed electrician. This is connecting your electrical panel to your generator and making the necessary hook ups.

All of these components come together to keep your house up and running when the lights go off.
